Hi.
I'm new on this site, so I will just start with what's on my mind. I want to start an eco business community in The Netherlands (or global??). I want to bring independent professionals together to work for a better, sustainable and cleaner future! After getting the right people together (different crafts). With the team I want to take on different kinds of projects, all focused on ecological biz or sustainable processes. My quest is: where or how do I start, and are there people here that would be interested in such a community?
Just checking for information, tips, potential partners, eco-friends! I would be very grateful for your help!

What are the Eco Icons? For any EcoChallenge, choose one or more icons that best reflects the category of sustainability that is helped by an EcoSolution. If an EcoSolution results in a new way to recycle something, choose the Recycle Icon; if an EcoSolution results in less waste production, choose the Reduce Waste Icon. A new water conservation method may represent multiple icons. You decide! If your EcoChallenge does not fall under any of the Icons, please let us know so we can create a new one! Scroll over each Eco Icon for a definition.

Richard Halpern: What's the sustainable scene like in the Netherlands? Is there lots of public awareness about this issue?
Guido Beusen: Well, there isn't much of a true sustainable scene. But awereness is growing quickly and also through several initiatieves there is attention for the issue. For example "the new way of working" and sustainability excellence centers (not much though). But that's still very little. The public and consumers are demanding sustainability, but a lot of companies are still searching because they don't know what to do or where to go.
