Used escalator rail - HEAVY DUTY!, Nearly indestructible.
It has been sporadically reused for boat bumpers at docks/moorages and for bumper rail in loading dock areas.
Looking for a consistent reuse opportunity. Thousands of feet avaialble locally and likely 100s of thousands of feet across the nation.
Samples available.
Best reuse/repurposing option.

What are the Eco Icons? For any EcoChallenge, choose one or more icons that best reflects the category of sustainability that is helped by an EcoSolution. If an EcoSolution results in a new way to recycle something, choose the Recycle Icon; if an EcoSolution results in less waste production, choose the Reduce Waste Icon. A new water conservation method may represent multiple icons. You decide! If your EcoChallenge does not fall under any of the Icons, please let us know so we can create a new one! Erica Cline: School Running Tracks, playgrounds, etc. How about a base under a jungle gym? Shred the material... it's nontoxic, clean, and durable.
Stacey Cusack: We'd love to get some samples at TerraCycle! Garden edging seems like a reuse option if we could find a way to anchor it in the ground. There's also the possibility of making a sculpture. Please email me about samples stacey (dot) krauss (at) terracycle (dot) com. Thanks!
